Formed in León, NIcaragua in 2024, by Daniel Kelly (USA) on vocals and Hugo Flores (NIC) on guitars, and later joined by Pedro Munguía (NIC) playing bass and Jaffar Rodríguez (NIC) dominating the drums, Quemen Los Barcos is the result of two different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences coming together to create a reflection of the reality we inhabit today and offer hope for a way forward.

Brutal, sensual, raw and sometimes extreme, our music pulls from the hardcore, punk, and metal scenes we grew up in and adds sounds and styles from around the world to build something entirely different.

From the plight of the indigenous in “Hijos Del Maíz”, to reflections of suicide and hope in “FAULT/LINES”, to the condemnation of the Epstein class in “Carnicero”, or the overt sexuality of “Words Before Midnight” our music delves into the darker corners of the human condition and lays bare our deepest thoughts and desires.

Formada en León, Nicaragua, en 2024, por Daniel Kelly (USA) en la voz y Hugo Flores (NIC) em la guitarra, a los que más tarde se unieron Pedro Munguía (NIC) al bajo y Jaffar Rodríguez (NIC) dominando la batería, Quemen Los Barcos es el resultado de la unión de dos culturas, orígenes y experiencias diferentes que se unen para crear un reflejo de la realidad en la que vivimos hoy y ofrecer esperanza para el futuro.

Brutal, sensual, cruda y, a veces, extrema, nuestra música bebe del hardcore, el punk y el metal con los que crecimos, e incorpora sonidos y estilos de todo el mundo para construir algo totalmente diferente. Desde la difícil situación de los pueblos indígenas en «Hijos Del Maíz», pasando por las reflexiones sobre el suicidio y esperanza en «FAULT/LINES», la condena de la clase Epstein «Carnicero», hasta la sexualidad explícita de «Words Before Midnight», nuestra música se adentra en los rincones más oscuros de la condición humana y expone al desnudo nuestros pensamientos y deseos más profundos.
